Welcome To Cardiff Bangladeshi Society

 Cardiff Bangladeshi Society (Formerly known As CBRG) was formed in 2003 by using participatory action research approach. The group aims to bring representatives from all different groups and sections including gender, age, and social status, together to act as a balanced representation of the Bangladeshi community in Cardiff in order to identify and address the needs of the community.

Hi my name is Salam Abdul Bangladeshi born British Muslim. I am the chair of Cardiff Bangladeshi society (CBS) I have done various trainings to develop my own professional development. I am an interpreter in my personal day to day job. I have excellent management and leadership skills.
 
I am a hard working, honest individual. I am a good timekeeper, always willing to learn new skills. I am friendly, helpful and polite, have a good sense of humour. I am able to work independently in busy environments and also within a team setting. I am outgoing and tactful, and able to listen effectively when solving problems. Currently I am involved in various different projects and have been fortunate to be funded by big funders.
I love helping people and seeing to their needs. Our Bangladeshi community deprives from a lot of things and we are here trying to do our best for them. My dream is to see more of our ethnic people reach for the sky and achieve success.

​Hi my name is Noorjahan Miah (Ruby) I am a reliable individual with excellent communication skills. I am hands-on, flexible and very hard-working. I am an efficient and well-mannered person. I can work under pressure without compromising on quality.
 I am an active trustee member of the Cardiff Bangladeshi Society (CBS) I have been volunteering with Cardiff Bangladeshi Society for the past 4 years.
 I am committed to equality of opportunity and learning.
 I work with the Bangladeshi community in providing those who need help and support, as they are deprived of many things due to the language barrier
